IMPACT of the Piedmont provides Individual Person-centered outpatient therapy tailored to your unique needs and goals. Each client receives an individualized treatment plan developed collaboratively with the therapist.
Treatment approaches may include:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP)
Mindfulness and guided imagery
Music and art therapy
Play therapy (for children)
Other evidence-based practices
Therapy continues until goals are met. After your final session, follow-up support is available for 30 days, and referrals to additional services can be made as needed.
Intake & Screening When you contact us, we'll schedule an intake appointment. Teresa will assess whether IMPACT's services are the right fit for your needs.
Personalized Treatment Plan If accepted for therapy, you'll work with Teresa to develop goals that matter to you. Your treatment plan is person-centered and guided by your preferences.
Ongoing Support Therapy sessions continue until you've met your goals. Progress is reviewed regularly, and adjustments are made as needed.
Successful Transition When therapy concludes, Teresa provides follow-up support and can connect you with additional community resources if helpful.
Therapy Location Sessions are held at our Mocksville office or on-site at licensed facilities in Davie and Yadkin Counties.

Meet Teresa Carter, LCSWA Teresa Carter brings over 30 years of mental health experience to IMPACT of the Piedmont. She has worked with adults and children in medical settings, community mental health, and social services.

How to Refer
Referrals can be made by calling our main office.
An intake appointment will be scheduled to determine appropriateness for services.
All referrals are screened carefully. If IMPACT is not the best fit, we will provide referrals to other qualified providers. Medicaid and private pay accepted.
