IMPACT of the Piedmont provides caring homes and programs that help adults with developmental, intellectual, and mental health challenges live with independence, dignity, and joy.
We are hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our group home team — someone who is supportive, compassionate, and motivated by helping others thrive.
The Direct Support Professional (DSP) is the person right beside the person served. The DSP in relationship with the person(s) served is where the magic happens!
Qualifications:
We are looking for people who love to make the lives of others better through respect, dignity and choice making.
Provide quality, person-centered support
Teach new skills
If in the residential setting, administer medications and provide personal care
A high school diploma/GED (minimum), reliable vehicle, auto insurance and approved background checks and screenings.
