The Employment Division of IMPACT is full of excitement and possibilities. The expertise offered by the IMPACT employment staff include:
Development of job readiness skills
Talent and interest assessment to lead to successful job matching
Individualized skill training on the job with task analysis
After the individual is hired, IMPACT will provide on-the-job training. IMPACT employment specialist will design the training to meet the learning needs of the individual. For example, task may be color coded, or picture graphics utilize. As skills are mastered and the employee is confident, the support service will phase out so that they can "fly solo"! If someone needs long-term support to ensure success, IMPACT can also provide that service!
When someone is in a paid position that they enjoy, the self-esteem rises from the experience of contributing, working on a team and glowing with the rewards of accomplishment. Independence and competence soar as the employee gains life choices as a result of having income.
